Awaken Project
The Awaken Project is run jointly by Children’s Services and the police, based at Bonny Street Police Station. Its aim is to safeguard vulnerable children and young people under the age of 18 who are sexually exploited. It also aims to identify, target and prosecute associated offenders.

Barnardos Blackpool Project
Teenage Support offers help and advice to teenage parents and teenagers who are pregnant. The Outreach and Leisure Team run groups and organises free activities for children and young people aged 5- 17. The Participation Team help children and young people aged 5 – 13 to engage and participate in processes that effect them . The Barnardos Blackpool Project helps and encourages young people to volunteer within the Project.

The Hub
The Hub is Blackpool’s Young Person’s Substance Misuse Service, offering information and advice to young people under the age of 19 years around substance misuse, including alcohol, tobacco and tobacco and solvents. Workers from The Hub try to be as flexible as possible regarding when are where they see young people. GP-led service providing assessment and treatment for:
- Minor Injuries, including sprains and strains, wounds, lacerations and bites etc.

GUM Clinic
A free, confidential and friendly service available to all ages. The service provides advice, testing, treatment and prevention for all sexually transmitted infections and related conditions and if necessary, signposts to other sexual health departments.
